38th The Bodrum Cup, held from October 19-24, concluded with an awards ceremony and a Pinhâni concert at Yalıkavak Marina. DANIEL 1 emerged as the champion of the race, which saw 90 boats and approximately 1,000 sailors compete across five stages covering a total of 79 nautical miles. Focusing on the 25th anniversary of the Bodrum Ship, the event complemented the races at sea with ongoing efforts to secure the vessel's future.
Stretching from Bodrum to Knidos and from Ortakent to Yalıkavak, 38th The Bodrum Cup saw teams compete for five days to place in their respective categories. The week, which began with the traditional bell-ringing ceremony at Bodrum Municipality Square on October 19, moved to the awards ceremony on Saturday, October 24, following the completion of the final sea race, the Anadolu Sigorta Stage, off the coast of Yalıkavak.
On the first day, off the coast of Bodrum, the teams set sail for the SumOne Stage, reached Knidos with the Ruins Luxury Resort Stage, and arrived in Ortakent with the Yalıkavak Marina Stage. The fleet, which raced from Ortakent to Yalıkavak during the OPET Stage, took to the starting line once more on the final day for the Anadolu Sigorta Stage. Knidos, which was included in the race route again after a long hiatus, was one of the standout stops this year.
At the awards ceremony held at Yalıkavak Marina, the champion of the 38th The Bodrum Cup, DANIEL 1, lifted its trophy, while teams that placed in other categories also received their awards.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the Bodrum Ship took center stage during the race week. Maintenance and renovation work is currently underway at Ağanlar Shipyard for the sailing school vessel, which was born out of The Bodrum Cup and introduces young people to maritime activities under the auspices of the Bodrum and Caria Region Culture, Art and Promotion Foundation (BOSAV). Following the work carried out with the contributions of various institutions and the maritime sector, the goal is for the ship to once again be used for maritime training, international projects, and cultural and artistic events.
Sum, which gave its name to the first stage,Onewill also donate the proceeds from the collection it prepared for The Bodrum Cup to BOSAV to help cover the ship's expenses. The Bodrum Cup will also donate the proceeds from the closing concert by Pinhâni to BOSAV for the same purpose.

The competition at sea during the race week was accompanied by gatherings on the shore. Dr. Şahin Ünal’s “The Bodrum Cup Special” oil painting exhibition met with visitors at the Race Center in Bodrum Municipality Square. The race flags, prepared together by individuals with special needs and volunteers at the Bodrum Health Foundation, also waved on the boats throughout the week.
Following the awards ceremony held at Yalıkavak Marina on Saturday, October 24th at 7:30 PM, Pinhâni took the stage at 9:30 PM. Racers, friends of The Bodrum Cup, and music lovers came together for the closing of the week.
