October 19, 14:00 Visit to Bodrum Museum of
Underwater Archaeology
“Visit to the exhibitions of Serçe Limanı Glass Wreck,
the oldest sample, built using the construction technique of today’s wooden
sailing yachts, 11th century A.D. and Uluburun Bronze Age wreck, the oldest
excavated rich ship of the world, 14th century B.C.”
• With the invitation of Kalymnos
Municipality, Kalymnos has been added to our program this year.
• Departure for Kalymnos will be made from D-Marin
Didim. It is compulsory for participants willing to go to Kalymnos, to have all
the necessary travel documents. Organization Committee will provide help for the
formalities for departure from D-Marin Didim and arrival in Bodrum.
• Participants not willing to go to Kalymnos may stay
in Gümüşlük. The start and finish lines have been set up accordingly.
• Measurement Committee has been established.
Measurements of all yachts will be made before the regatta. Participants in and
around Bodrum are requested to report their locations to the Organization
Committee.
• According to Turkish Sailing Federation's "Regulation of Organizing Sailing Races", all participants have to hold licences. Guest competants and persons that don't have the sailing licence can obtain a temporary one valid for only one race from Era Bodrum Sailing Club. The fee is 10 Turkish liras. If you already have sailing licence, please add the guest list and licence numbers to the form. |
