SECOND DAY IN THE BODRUM CUP
INTERNATIONAL WOODEN YACHT REGATTA

On 24th October, 61 yachts have passed a long way racing between Gumusluk and Gulluk. In the morning, there was a good wind but not in the afternoon, therefore most of the yachts used their colorful light genovas to get into the finish line. The scene was incredible.

First finish yachts were Ayaz, Gözdem I and Levent Kaptan I in the second race.

According to total of two races, Levent Kaptan I is the first yacht with 5 points, STS Bodrum Sailing School Ship is the second yacht with 9 points, Grandi and Montenegro are third with 10 points.

Second course was named after Mesut Baran, editor of the Turkish Sailing World magazine, who passed away recently. Him and another famous sports writer, Kazim Kanat, who was actually a sailor himself, were commemorated in a ceremony in the evening in Gulluk Bay. Then a concert was given by Izmir Express group.
