GOOD WINDS ALONG THE COURSE

Second day of the Bodrum Cup has gave many exciting moments and amazing pictures thanks to the wind of average 4 beauforts.
Yachts took start at 10:00 from Yalikavak and finished the 16 nm course in Gundogan.
GRANDI finished first in traditional wooden yachts overall, STS BODRUM second and CARPE DIEM the third.
SPLINTER was the first among non wooden yachts group A, and FERDA the second, SUH the third, OFELIA first in the guest B category.
After the race Gundogan Municipality welcomed participants with gifts and band show. Folk dances were watched with great interest.
At 20:30, as a Bodrum Cup tradition, The Best and The fanciest dressed team contest was held. Every year participants get more creative and crazy. Jury was formed by press members and Gundogan Mayor Ibrahim Bilgi.
MELIKE team was the Best Dressed Team, LADY PATRICIA with cartoon caracter costumes was selected The Fanciest Dressed Team, RANDA got the jury special prize with their playcards costumes in the same category. Winners were awarded by Gundogan mayor Ibrahim Bilgi and lieutenant general Burhan Tunali.
Afterwords group Jasmin played popular songs, and sailors danced by the fire along the shore. Was a night to remember.
