THE BODRUM CUP STARTED FOR THE 18TH TIME!...
The Bodrum Cup XVIII., organized by Era Bodrum Sailing Club has started by the briefing and the coctail at Milta Bodrum Marina on 14th of October 2006.
During the day, opening ceremonies organized by Bodrum Municipality were full of nice moments, including school bands , folk dance shows, live music and music from Radio 5 and Radio Show.
A press meeting was held between 14:30 and 15:00 hrs in Iskele square.
On that evening at the marina, Head of the Organization Committee Erman Aras, Commodore Atilla Turkmen and Bodrum governor Abdullah Kalkan all together rang the bell of start for the races.
Photographer Ali Oz has presented a slide show from his Bodrum Cup pictures of last 18 years. Than Yasmin Orchestra has played great songs of jazz, pop and local music.
