Third day on
the race (18.10.2005)
Weather gets
cloudy on the third day, and the wind goes faster than the
racers.
Third course
started from Gumusluk and finished in Yalikavak. Participants
anchored in The Port Bodrum Yalikavak Marina in the evening.
Marina
management had prepared a live music show for the guests, and a
cocktail party.
Also the
program included a traditional contest of “The Best Dressed and
The Fanciest Dressed Team”.
Best dressed
team was “Nazan Deniz” with their Turkish Flag t-shirts, and the
jury special prize went to “Grandi” with dark blue polar shirts.
Fanciest
Dressed team was “Levent Kaptan I” crew, they were wearing all
white – underwear like dresses, “Kugu” team won the jury special
prize with their duck hats and puppets. Crew of “Kugu” was
protested by some of the participants for they brought the risk
of –bird flue- to the evening!...

Third day
first finish yachts were “Jasmin I” in The Bodrum Cup class,
and “Ilios” in overall class.
