LAST COURSE ON THE RACE

XV. Bodrum Cup reached its final with a memorable course. Racers were happy to see slightly
increasing wind in the morning, and they got prepared to the last course, heading from
Bitez to Bodrum, at 10,5 NM distance.
After a breathtaking ride, winners in the category of Traditional Wooden Yachts were RANDA,
BODRUM and AYAZ, and first three of Traditional Yachts Under Standart Sails were ELELE II,
ALIKO and HORIZON.
Downtown square of Bodrum was dressed to celebrate the returning of racing fleet.
During the day, people enjoyed the dance shows, music from Bodrum FM and several different
food stands. In the afternoon, sailors once again met in rope-pull game.
"CARPE DIEM" in Traditional Wooden Yachts, "IDALIA" in Classic Wooden Yachts, and "SAGNAK"
in non-wooden yachts were first yachts in the last course.
