XV. BODRUM Cup has started with the first race from Bodrum to Turgutreis, 11 NM.

Due to the light wind, start has been postponed to 11:55 hours. On the VHF, Bodrum Governor Osman Eksi and Mayor Mazlum Agan have given the start and wished good wind to the racers.

The fleet went to Turgutreis, under cloudy sky, and with wind of 3-4 beaufort.

A cocktail and ceremony was held in D-Marin Turgutreis, to reward the first finishing yachts of each category.

"AYAZ" in Traditional Wooden Yachts (winner of 1991, 1992, 199 and 2000), "KARYA" in Classic Wooden Yachts, and "KOTCHERO II" in non-wooden yachts came first to the finish line.
